Here are some wonderful soccer drills that will get your children interested with this agressive and fun filled game. What better way to help your children reach their full physical potential than by aquainting them with this full body sport that gives them a cardio and physical workout.

Simons Orders:
All you need to do is spread 4 cones and make a squre on the field. Have your children grab the soccer ball and ask them to drible in the middle of the square. As the children start to dribble call out commands using Simon Orders such as “Simon Orders you to Kneel or Simon Orders you to place the ball on your left foot!” Every child should follow the ccommands before they can resume the soccer training.

If the children are not able to follow their Simon instructions then they are asked to step out of the square. You can increase the difficulty level by coming up with complex commands sometimes using three consecutive actions to complete. You can play until the children have had a full cardio work out or a winner has been determined.

Soccer Coaching Line Passes:
Have your children form two lines, 20 yards apart spread diagonally. Line them up behond each other approximately two cones apart. Using one soccer ball have the first player pass the ball to the opposite side and run back to the end of their assigned lnes. You can accelerate the process to assist in more calorie burn and make it a more competitive drill for the kids.

3 Vs 3
Using four cones, arrange a 20 by 20 square field estimate. Grabe a couple of more cones and spread them on each side of the square to form individual goals, finish up by adding two more goals completing a goal for each side of the aquare. Ask your children to come up with two teams of 3 players and set the timer for 10 minute matches.
